Jennifer Oh, DNP, PMHNP-BC

Nurse Practitioner

Growing up, I observed a strong social stigma against mental conditions in my community, with only a small percentage seeking medical help. This misconception initially blinded me to the commonality of these disorders. I decided to pursue psychiatry to increase awareness of mental health issues and emphasize a holistic, mind-body approach. My goal is to implement a community-based, multidisciplinary approach to assess, diagnose, and treat mental health issues. I love developing long-term, therapeutic relationships with patients to make a significant impact on their lives by helping them manage and overcome mental health challenges. I value considering the mind-body connection and addressing various aspects of a patient’s well-being, as mental health can profoundly affect other facets of our lives. I enjoy hiking, camping, yoga, and Netflix.
