Oak Health Center Welcomes Savannah Curdo, AMFT, APCC, to Fullerton Office

Fullerton, CA – August 22, 2024 – Oak Health Center, a leading provider of comprehensive mental health outpatient care in Southern California, is thrilled to announce that Savannah Curdo, AMFT, APCC, has joined its team of mental health professionals at the Fullerton office.

Savannah Curdo holds a Masters of Science in Clinical Psychology and brings a passionate commitment to inner growth, integrating spirituality, and the therapeutic use of art in trauma recovery, family, couple’s, and child/adolescent therapy. She is an advocate for the LGBTQ+ community and has extensive experience in assisting individuals with trauma, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and self-exploration.

“I grew up with mental health concerns in my family, and for years I didn’t have the understanding of what was happening,” shares Ms. Curdo. “Difficult situations would be ‘prayed away’ and the issues often unresolved. Once in my own therapy, and studying Psychology, those experiences began to ‘click’ into place. There was hope. I have a deep appreciation for how spirituality and therapy merge to create a space for a person to grow, or learn to just ‘be’.”

Outside of her professional life, Savannah enjoys painting, spending time with friends and family, and playing with her two cats, Biscuits and Gravy. Her personal experiences and professional expertise significantly enhance her empathetic and holistic approach to therapy.

“The best part of my job is when I see my clients have those ‘ah ha’ moments and feel safe enough to either grieve or celebrate those moments with me,” adds Ms. Curdo. “When I see clients become comfortable within themselves in the office, and it leaks into everyday life, that is when I get excited for them!”
