Oak Health Center Welcomes Sasha Schultz, AMFT, to Virtual Therapy Team – Duplicate – [#58406]

Ms. Schultz will serve patients aged 14-65 via telehealth.

Laguna Hills, CA – March 13, 2025 – Oak Health Center, a leading provider of comprehensive mental health outpatient care in Southern California, is pleased to announce the addition of Sasha Schultz, AMFT, to its team of dedicated professionals. As an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, Sasha will be offering virtual therapy services to clients aged 14 to 65, providing accessible mental health support across the region.

Sasha earned her degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Palo Alto University. She specializes in helping teens navigate life’s challenges, including identity and family struggles, stress, existential fears, and life transitions. Through a trauma-informed lens, Sasha utilizes compassion and evidence-based approaches such as Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to support teens and adults in developing healthier relationships, building coping strategies, and fostering emotional resilience. Whether clients are facing academic pressures or mental health concerns like anxiety or depression, Sasha works collaboratively to create lasting, meaningful change for a more fulfilling life.

Reflecting on her path to becoming a therapist, Sasha shares, “As the only child of immigrant parents, I spent a lot of time on my own while they worked and went to nursing school. Those moments of solitude helped me develop a rich inner world, where I often imagined myself as the hero of my own journey. As I grew older, books like The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho deepened my understanding: becoming the hero in real life takes courage and a willingness to show up every day.” She adds, “The most rewarding part of being a therapist is walking alongside others on their own journeys of self-discovery. It’s an honor to help people reflect, grow, and experience the transformative power of being truly seen and understood.”

In her personal time, Sasha enjoys playing recreational softball, spending time with her partner, hiking, and engaging in food-focused travel.
