Ms. Fam will serve patients aged 6-65 out of the South Pasadena office

Oak Health Center Welcomes Miriam Fam, AMFT, to South Pasadena Team

South Pasadena, CA – March 6, 2025 – Oak Health Center, a leading provider of comprehensive mental health outpatient care in Southern California, is pleased to announce the addition of Miriam Fam, AMFT, to its team of dedicated professionals. As an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, Miriam will be serving clients aged 6 to 65 at the South Pasadena location.

Miriam earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Biola University and her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology & Social Behavior from the University of California, Irvine. She is passionate about creating a safe space where individuals can explore their intrinsic worth and work towards personal growth. Miriam integrates psychology and spirituality in her clinical practice, offering a holistic approach to mental health care.

“I decided to go into this field because I believe that I was called to see and sit with people in the areas in their life where they feel the most unseen,” says Miriam. “The best part of my job is the privilege of being invited to journey alongside people in deep and vulnerable places in their lives and to witness them realize their own intrinsic identity and worth.”

Miriam has experience working with individuals facing depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, life transitions, eating disorders, and relational dynamics. Her approach is client-centered, focusing on the unique needs of each individual to foster healing and personal development.

In her personal time, Miriam enjoys drinking coffee, spending time with friends and family, reading, listening to podcasts, and exploring nutrition.
