Lguna Hills, California – June 27, 2024  –

Oak Health Center is proud to announce the addition of Dr. Shantrice Gibson, a licensed psychologist, to its esteemed team of mental health professionals. Dr. Gibson will be providing virtual-only services to clients across California, allowing for flexible and accessible mental health care.

Dr. Shantrice Gibson’s practice of psychology grew from her desire to help others find their voice and build healthy relationships with themselves and others. “The best part of my job is the moment when people recognize and take pride/joy in the work they’ve accomplished in their personal journey,” says Dr. Gibson.

Dr. Gibson received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Briar Cliff University in Sioux City, Iowa, and obtained her doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from The Illinois School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University-Chicago, with special interests in diversity and development. She has extensive experience providing therapy and assessment services to diverse populations in correctional, community, and military settings across the country. Additionally, she has served as an adjunct faculty member at the Creighton School of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska.

Dr. Gibson primarily relies on a combination of evidence-based and strength-based approaches to address a wide range of issues, including relationship problems, trauma, poor self-esteem, anxiety, mood concerns, inequality, and major life transitions or milestones.
